Right now (as I understand it) the answer (as you may antiicpate) is  
neither.

This does not necessarily mean that someone cannot use their binaries  
in a non-commercial system...  or ultimately license their software  
if you want to use it commercially.... or learn something completely  
new from their approach and work it from a different angle.
