[FRIAM] iPod Video

Meribeth loves hers. You can buy videos of tv shows and stuff like that from
iTunes, and several media websites (Homestarrunner.com for one) have videos
to play on your iPod video. Other than that there are a ton of utilities
that will turn avis (or whatever) and/or dvds into the correct resolution for
the iPod. The controls are *so much* better than the horrid 3g ones there
isn't even a comparison. They've very similar to the 1g controls which were,
IMO, brilliant. I hate the 3g controls.

The latest amaroK's interface for the iPod is so good that I'll probably get
one myself when mine dies unless someone pulls something really great out of
the ether fuzz (here's a shameless plug for a product I have nothing to do
with: amaroK is Insanely Great!). Neuros keeps talking about how awesome
their next player is going to be, but so far nothing has materialized.
