I notice that the 17" weight is 6.8 pounds.  I believe that's the  
same as they've been for several releases.  This time they include a  
double-layer-burning super drive.  I wonder if that means we can  
build DVDs with twice the capacity?

Anyway, hopefully the move to Merom will help us "scientific and  
visualization types".
