Many, many years ago I attend a series of lectures in the Guildhall of  
London on the workings of the brain.  One of the conclusions of some  researchers 
was that one of the only ways to explain the brain's incredible  capacity for 
memory was to posit that the brain had inherent memories of future  events 
which were then later triggered by the actual events.  Interesting,  n'est-ce pas?
