[FRIAM] Privacy by Design

FRIAMers,

At the suggestion of Tom Johnson, I'm attaching a SCIENCE article of mine
that appeared August 31. It deals with the need to design systems to assure
privacy while still accomplishing the motivating purpose of the system.

As many of you are system designers, I'd certainly welcome your comments.
