[FRIAM] scanning an old manuscript

I've been reading a lot of ebooks from the library, and I'm noticing that
some OCR errors keep slipping through. A character in the book I'm just
now reading is rendered as Former and Fortner on facing pages. So don't
expect even good OCR to leave you with nothing left to proof read.
