Re: Openness -- You've got it exactly right!  We're all fragile in spite of the toxic masculinity that dominates our world(s).  On one of my trips to visit a foreign client, we'd had a bit too much to drink and they expressed gratitude at my willingness to share too much information (TMI).  It set them at ease when they were hunting for "experts" in a field that intimidated them.  I tried to explain that _weakness_ is a strength.  I want to blame the fact that English was a 2nd language for them for my failure to explain it properly.  (Well, that and the beer, I'm sure.)  Openness and vulnerability are the hallmarks of strength.  Keep sharing.  The more you sow, the more you reap.
