[FRIAM] Wildfires and Climate Change

30 years ago, farmers in Oregon would burn their fields.  The smoke reminds me of that, except it now goes on for weeks.    In California, fires are now just part of the changing of the seasons.   The huge wildfires in Oregon last year were more shocking.

As much as my wife and I loved NM, fires and the accompanying smoky air were a large factor in our decision to move to the cloud forest. Pure, clean, oxygenated air all day 365 days of the year.
