Ah, nice to know, again, something google doesn't find.

(Irrelevant, but I similarly found today that searching for "patagonia
pants" at amazon generates pages and pages of results, but no pants made by
patagonia.)

Google did find this pdf,
http://mechanism.ucsd.edu/teaching/models/hesse.pdf, part of the first
chapter of Models and Analogies in Science.  Sounds abductive.  Is Nick
able to read pdf's again?
