I was hoping we could have asked Kevan about his thoughts on the<br>
funding and training of more social intervention programs, promoting<br>
community activism (volunteering at shelters, say) for officers, and<br>
what ideas he might have for cultivating more agency as civilians to<br>
serve-and-protect one's own community. It is clearly the case the<br>
policing needs an overhaul, but I wish to advocate for also for buying<br>
a screwdriver when one only has a hammer.<br>
