<p>Octavia Butler died abruptly 15 years ago with only two books of
her multipart "Parable" (or more commonly Earthseed) series
completed. She was an incredibly deep and perceptive thinker
about social issues across many domains (authoritarian movements,
social justice, climate change, etc.) which have come to be
central to our lives decades later.<br>
