<p>Crazy coincidence... just today we had planned our Hague visit
but waved off due to heavy rain (15 minute walks on both ends of
our train travel if we don't see anything *but* the primary
goal)... We are rescheduled for a (less rainy) Sunday visit. A
new friend/colleague here Hank Kune (who you will be meeting in
due time, he is working with Hubville's Anders Varger and is a
good candidate for DualSpace spec/alpha) recommended the Panorama
Mesdag which I didn't click immediately as being the specific
classical Panorama you had referenced months back... but as I was
making the decision to wait it was because of *another* feature in
the Hague you didn't (I don't think) mention that has significant
relevance to augmented spatial reality and urban/landscapes.<br>

Reminder of this past thread on panoramas and to check out
Panorama Mesdag (<a
href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panorama_Mesdag"

while in the Hague. I don't want to oversell it but I love the
pure analog creation of immersion. Also, perhaps it was
special because Ali, the boys and I, spent a few days prior
in the Hague beachside district of <a

moz-do-not-send="true" class="moz-txt-link-freetext">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scheveningen</a>

familiar with the location.<br>

Thought of you, Robert, given your time in Edinburgh and
for some reason when I heard the UofEdinburgh librarian
utter "<a href="https://youtu.be/wpSeIkl2EI4?t=94"

BTW, I was blown away when I experienced Panaorma Mesdag
in person at the Hague with Ali and the boys a couple
years ago<br>

The mixed media effect with real sand dunes and grass in
the foreground, the gazebo and the skylight that allowed
natural sunlight and cloud shadows for illumination on the
360 panorama gave an awesome sense of presence. Better
than VR headset as I experienced in person with my family
unencumbered with headset and intersacting with foreground
people. Google Photos<br>
