<p>What is often more fascinating to me than Speculative Fiction
itself (though I always appreciate such which speculates on the
topic of "what it is to be human... when/if/as?") is that written
by folks with legitimate chops in a science or technical field.</p>
<p>Moreso I appreciate the motivational/contemplative background
that they might offer to frame it:</p>

blog posts are all open-access? It looks like the Story behind
