Can you expect someone who knows that he will lose several hundred thousand dollars if he doesn’t act on the information to grit his teeth and take the loss? On the other hand, if he sells, is he cheating the buyers?</p>

<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">I’m not sure that we should require couples to get a divorce when one is a politician and the other is a venture capitalist. Having said that, it is hard to believe that information obtained by the politician doesn’t leak to the VC. I agree that it is a problem, but there seems to be a reason to distinguish between crooks.</span></p>
