    glen's subject-heading "absurd" triggered my (way too) free
    associative mind to zoom in/out/aside on "Theater of the Absurd"
    with the (obvious?) theme that a great deal of what plays out
    on-list (aka FriAM Theater Stage 1) is a bit absurdist (in the best
    way).   I believe that much of our absurdist discursions (mea-culpa)
    begin and/or are framed as attempts at serious Existential
    investigations:<br>

          Often uses <strong data-start="875" data-end="906">coherent,
            rational dialogue</strong> to explore ideas. The characters
          are typically articulate, even when grappling with existential
          uncertainty.</p>

            data-start="1019" data-end="1044">Theater of the Absurd</strong>:<br
            data-start="1045" data-end="1048">
          Language is <strong data-start="1062" data-end="1094">broken,
            circular, repetitive</strong>, or <strong data-start="1099"
            data-end="1114">nonsensical</strong>. Communication often <strong
            data-start="1136" data-end="1145">fails</strong>,
          reinforcing the sense that language is inadequate to express
          truth or meaning.</p>
