The simply term "automation" could imply VERY large machines, like
3D printers stretched over acres of land, picking and manipulating
the little things. Or it could imply a collection of a few large
machines, many meso machines, and lots of micro or pico machines
all orchestrated to metabolize old panels and regrow new ones.
*Then* it would look more sustainable to me.
