[FRIAM] All roads lead to Peirce?

Found a wonderful library here in Amsterdam, the Ritman, co-located with the Embassy of the Free Mind in the “House with the Faces.”

Was researching Ramon Lull - founder of computational science - which led me to Duns Scotus and the concept of haecceity which led to Peirce who uses the term to define “individual.” Along the way lots of Heidegger and nothingness and being-ness. Lot’s of fun chasing Egyptology through alchemy to Isaac Newton, the last of the alchemists.

Great Fun.
