In a probabilistic universe, of which any given lump of gray and white matter is a part, how does that lump influence its own distributions? Why should quantum mechanics not apply to the lump? Determinism is a red herring when it comes to free will! In the multiverse view, there’s the sin case and the not sin case, a we-never-existed case. Maybe there’s even a no big bang case? Different big bang cases?
