Bernardini hits all my 12-elite-who-run-the-world, smoky-backroom, emotional buttons, I *want* to believe the story. It's got all the great villains from Erik Prinze to coronovirus disinfo. In the end, it's probably just the typical huksters out makin' a buck, less nefarious, more Dickensian.
