We have a local rock hound who used to sell ... [ahem] ... minerals at the market. Having made it clear, at the pub, that I'm a skeptic, we came to a compromise much like my doctor's defense of having an acupuncture brochure in his office ... if it makes you feel better, then that's a satisficing definition of "works".

Should I have spent my lunch hour on this? Honestly, IDK. But I doubt it.
