Hm. Implicit in the question "what have you done to earn" is will power or free will or somesuch. But the denial of (free) will is *not* the denial of development, nor is it the denial that credit/blame can be ascribed to people (regardless of whether they deserve it or not).

Moral luck posits that you can both be awarded and blamed for consequences for which you're the primary agent without positing that you deserve the award or blame. But whatever constructive "axioms" underly development are still there, still operative ... just without the metaphysics.
