[FRIAM] a request from Europe

[Edward Angel]

I lived inside the riot zone during the first LA riot in 1965. A 19-year-old national guardsman lived in our apartment building. During the curfew, he was forced to shoot a rioter who tried to break through the national guard barriers. It’s something he never got over. He was also a victim.
