[FRIAM] International Conference on ANTICIPATORY SYSTEMS AND ROSENNEAN COMPLEXITY. May 22 – 23, 2025, UNAM, Mexico

I first read this as a solicitation for candidates from FriAM as a
"Rosennian philosophical sparring partner" and of course thought of Glen
right away (I suppose I could have just "read carefully" instead?).

If someone sets up a voting/contributing poll, possibly where the number
of votes is proportional to the $$ contributed (maybe log scale?) for
who represents... a sort of weighted ranked-choice voting with skin(s)
in the game?    I do like the idea of crowdsourcing such participation
and more to the point, the pursuit of making FriAM into an "Anticipatory
System" itself? (gone recursive?)

This is a very apt offering (Rosen's body of work) in the context our
current thread(s) on everything from reversible computing, implications
for info vs thermo entropy, and even Pieter/Jochen's discussions of
U/Dys topian futures.

My maunderings on memoized GoL with entropy estimation, seems to fit as
well...   I've tried to think about the implications of smaller kernel
hashes saturating or going asymptotic vs larger ones and the propogation
of novelty up and down the scale-stack?

Another throwdown (throw away?) is the relationship between
super/sub-venience and forward/backward causality and implications for
entropy...

mumble/ramble/fumble/bumble,

  - Steve
