[FRIAM] Friam, gmail is being persnickety, any ideas how to fix it?

Background:
gmail yesterday worked fine. Windows 11 had it's regularly temper-tantrum
about forced updates and rebooted itself. And now it's not.
>From what I can tell the only way to get to my email on google accounts is
using incognito mode.
I have tried: public DNS's (quad 8, quad 1, etc),
restarting my computer, restarting my browserS
(twitch twitch): aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayeee, edge, firefox, and opera. Opera I
can get to a quasy for forums, gets to much spam account, But not this one.
The error on chrome is:
This site can’t be reached

<https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/>* might be temporarily down or it may
have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_FAILED

I hate to ask for tech support help here. Google has become almost useless
:( . Sufficed to say: I literally couldn't find any fix. There's tons of
threads from 2+ years ago on reddit, Twitter, facebook etc. Nothing recent
though.
My hunch is it's some setting, the incredibly old threads suggested
clearing cache from the browser.
Has anyone run into this? if so what have folks done to fix it?
