As we Wait for the Worms <https://tidal.com/browse/track/55391470?u>, this might be useful in sprinkling granules into The Machine:
Discover the CIA’s Simple Sabotage Field Manual: A Timeless Guide to Subverting Any Organization with “Purposeful Stupidity” (1944)

It's funny that both GPT and Claude list as the 1st meaning of "grit" things like "mental toughness", "perserverance", "passion", "determination", etc. But it seems to me that we can pile up the meanings more interestingly if we take Torkel Franzen's advice seriously <https://web.archive.org/web/20060430164022/http://www.sm.luth.se/~torkel/eget/net.html>. The guidelines at the end of the Open Culture article follow that advice.
