I don’t know how she does it. It would have to be profitable to get out of bed to do that every day.

Now that our Dear Leader has demonstrated to us that the stock market is just as fragile to meme-ing as the theorists hypothesized back in the day, ethical stock ownership (in publicly traded companies) isn't as straightforward as we might think.
I have an anarchist friend who thinks I should divest from fin, fintech, and defense. (He doesn't really know about "cyber" or "ai" funds, otherwise they would have been in there, too.) But I pointed out that owning, say, 1 share forces them to send you their comms, which helps remind you to keep tabs on them, the OG "like and subscribe" [⛧]. (All my investments are tiny and wouldn't pay my mortgage for even a quarter. So all of my investments fall into this sad camp.) Also, if you happen to have a large enough share, you can participate in shareholder revolts, which often end up being Bad because the shareholders only care about their dividends but can often also be Good if they think, for example, the CEO is a toxic nutjob.
As with many things, the ethical thing to do isn't hide and avoid playing. It's to play, but play strategically.
[⛧] But just like social media, do they "like" you because you're so cringe they laugh their ass off every time you post? Or do they actually like you? Nobody knows. Nobody cares. It's the traffic that gets you paid, right Sabina?

I told my wife about the order and she seemed worried. She usually doesn't care what I do regarding stocks but she wanted to research PLTR. She decided that I shouldn't buy it for moral and ethical reasons. I didn't quite understand but I canceled the order. That's the first time she has ever gotten involved. To be fair, most of our investments that I manage are shares of the magnificent 7: Amazon, Apple, etc.
