I think there is a trend toward constant communication that is not helpful.   I am annoyed by Teams how it constantly wants to know if I am active.  After meetings I see it posts attendance reports.  Part of it is just the usual intrusiveness of managers.  However there also seems to be a trend toward neediness in colleagues and too much interest finding consensus.   It seems to me to build good things we should stop, think, and suss out flawed assumptions.  That takes time offline and some disagreeableness.   I don’t need to feel comfortable with another consciousness to recognize a good observation.
