Or a good socialist might prescribe nationalizing?

Amazon Essentials seems like the perfect candidate for that.   If USB
cords and generic standardized batteries and flatware and cleaning
products and, and, and ... can be pre-cached in regional warehouses, and
even in (Amazon) delivery vehicles and delivered to your doorstep in a
day (or even an hour) then maybe this could/should be an entirely
non-profit nationalized setup?   Or the business of a CoOp?   Or back to
the corner/cash/momNpop store?

I have an account and an old IRA with a local Credit Union and yet I
keep running all my cashflow through my (formerly locally, now bought up
by a national) bank.  Why can I speak so directly to such things and not
act on them?   Is there anything more generic than modern financial
services?

I think I need a Starbucks Venti triple-shot full-caff Oatmilk Latte
(with an umbrella on top) to take the edge off my self-disgust!
