Thanks everybody. All interesting.
As irony would have it, I was felled by a 72 hour virus and have barely
woken up since posting this inquiry.
By the way, being sick makes me more suceptible to click bait and I
stumbled into this:
Our 10 Best Laptops Best in the US - March 2024 | BestProductsReviews.com
<https://www.bestproductsreviews.com/laptops-best?targetid=kwd-84320084392682:loc-190&matchtype=e&device=c&campaignid=530764322&creative=&adgroupid=1349103268416817&feeditemid=&loc_physical_ms=82168&loc_interest_ms=&network=a&devicemodel=&placement=&keyword=$best%20laptop%20computer&target=&adposition=&trackid=us_all_top_2_bing&mId=H149003CQN&msclkid=42de8bf940fe1b99d40bee053f804524>
I don't need a laptop so there is no danger I will buy anything, but Geez,
am I reading these prices right?
