I can't help but wonder if the police were becoming concerned about sabotage.  
Trucks going up in flames -- sort of could end looking like a Waco type situation.   Police not to blame, but perhaps a result of some frustrated locals?
Large gas tanks, plenty of fuel for a massive conflagration.   Come on..

I think Trudeau was wise to act.
